Erika is from California, and currently lives in New York City where she freelance dances, models, acts, and sings.
She has an extensive background in classical ballet, as well as jazz, contemporary, hip- hop, and pilates. Her foundational ballet training was at Los Gatos Ballet, under the instruction of artistic director, Marcie Ryken. Erika improved her technique at the summer programs of San Francisco Ballet, Houston Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Boston Ballet, Austin Ballet, Nashville Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet, and San Jose Ballet.
Erika graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a BA in Human Biology, Dance minor, and Communications minor. Throughout her time at USC she performed and choreographed for multiple on campus dance companies. In 2015 she performed jazz, hip-hop, and cheer routines as a World Famous USC Song Girl; at the “5,6,7,8” of the band director she was responsible for knowing 90+ routines.
Following graduation, Erika danced with San Diego Ballet’s company in fall 2017, and most recently toured in 2018 and 2019 with the New York based company, Ballet For Young Audiences.
Erika has been a featured model and actress in companies like Discount Dance Supply magazine, a Danskin Korea active wear commercial, ColorColla tennis shoes, and Lululemon window modeling (check out her "Resume" page for more).
When Erika is not lacing up her pointe shoes or smiling for the camera, she teaches at CorePower Yoga and writes as a freelance journalist.
Erika is always eager to participate in the next opportunity to sparkle in front of the audience or camera!
